00:31President Ferdinand R. Barcos Jr. led the 5th Legislative Executive Development Advisory Council or LEDAC meeting today in Malacanang.
00:40The LEDAC serves as the President's consultative and advisory body for the programs and policies that can be used in the use of the nation's assets.
00:48As a result, the priorities of the bill that was promised by the Senate and House of Representatives will be passed before the current session ends.
00:57According to the Socioeconomic Planning Secretary, Arsenio Balisacan, the status of the 25 priority bills agreed last year was discussed in the meeting.
01:06Senate President Francis Escudero is positive that the amendments will help in advancing the socio-economic transformation of the administration.

01:21Some of the proposed priorities that can be passed are reforming the Philippine Capital Markets, Archipelagic Sea Lines Act,
01:28Amendments to the Right-of-Way Act, Excise Tax on Single-Use Plastics, and Rationalization of the Mining Fiscal Regime.
01:35There are also amendments to the Electric Power Industry Reform Act or PIRA, Department of Water Resources, Create More Act,
01:43Amendments to the Foreign Investors Long-Term Lease Act, and Amendments to the Rice Tarification Law.
01:48For the second list of priorities are the Blue Economy Act, Enterprise-Based Education and Training Framework Act,
01:56Amendments to the Universal Health Care Act, Open Access and Data Transmission Act, Waste-to-Energy Bill,
02:02Mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps or ROTC, and Unified System of Separation, Retirement, and Pension of Military and Uniformed Personnel.
02:12There are also the E-Government Act or E-Governance Act, Amendments to the Agrarian Reform Law, and the Philippine Immigration Act.
02:20Other proposed laws that are already in the advanced stages of deliberation are the Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act,
02:27Amendments to the Government Procurement Reform Act, Anti-Financial Accounts Scamming Act, Self-Reliant Defense Posture Revitalization Act,
02:36and the Philippine Maritime Zones Act, as well as the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning or Aral Program Act,
02:43and VAT on Digital Services and New Government Auditing Code.
02:47As of now, 17 bills have been passed to become laws from the 59 LIDAR Common Legislative Agenda Bills that were just passed by the 19th Congress.
