सोमवार से नवगठित 18वीं लोकसभा का पहला सत्र शुरू हुआ। इस दौरान सभी नवनिर्वाचित सांसदों को लोकसभा सदस्य के रूप में शपथ दिलाई गई। सत्र से इतर यूपी के मुरादाबाद से समाजवादी पार्टी की नवनिर्वाचित सांसद रुचि वीरा ने आईएएनएस से खास बातचीत की। उन्होंने कहा कि अपने क्षेत्र का विकास, अपने क्षेत्र का भाईचारा और अपने क्षेत्र के किसानों की आवाज उठाने का काम करेंगे। युवाओं के साथ जो हो रहा है, बार बार पेपर लीक हो रहा है ये बहुत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है उसको भी हम सदन में उठाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में संविधान खतरे में है सपा ने इस मुद्दे को उठाया है और आगे भी ये लड़ाई जारी रहेगी। वहीं पीएम मोदी के अपने संबोधन में आपातकाल की बरसी का जिक्र करने पर उन्होंने कहा कि वो कांग्रेस पर ही रोते रहते हैं, वो अपने कार्यकाल के विकास कार्य गिनाएं।
