00:00Today is the third day of my unrestricted Kali Nanshan.
00:05I am sitting on this Nanshan because there is a lot of water shortage in Delhi.
00:12Delhi does not have its own water.
00:14All the water in Delhi comes from neighboring states.
00:18The total water in Delhi is 1005 MgD.
00:22Out of which 613 MgD, i.e. 613 million gallons per day, comes from Haryana.
00:29But since the last three weeks, Haryana has reduced its water supply.
00:34They are not providing water to Delhi.
00:37They are only providing 513 MgD, i.e. 100 million gallons per day, for Delhi.
00:46Out of 1 MgD of water, 28,500 people get water.
00:52When Haryana is reducing its water supply to 100 MgD, i.e. 100 million gallons per day,
00:5928 lakh people in Delhi are not getting water.
01:05The Haryana government says, we do not have water.
01:10How can we provide water to Delhi?
01:12But yesterday, many journalists went to Hathnikund Barrage,
01:17from where water is supplied to Delhi.
01:20Everyone took photos and videos there,
01:24and it is clearly visible that Hathnikund Barrage has water.
01:29It is filled with water.
01:31But the gate through which water is supplied to Delhi,
01:36that gate has been closed.
01:38Water is not being supplied from there.
01:41So I request the Haryana government,
01:44to open the gates of Hathnikund Barrage,
01:48to open the gates of Hathnikund Barrage,
01:50and to stop supplying water to Delhi.
01:53The Delhi people should get the water they deserve.
01:57Until the Haryana government does not supply water to Delhi,
02:03until the gates of Hathnikund Barrage are not opened,
02:07this uncertainty will continue.
