It's a little bit different from a normal chip, and if you practice it, you get pretty

I think it takes a lot of the air, a lot of the possible horrific shots that a lot of

us hit around the green kind of out of it.

And what you do, you stand closer to the ball, move it off your back foot and you get that

shaft almost vertical, or at least a lot more vertical than you usually do.

Almost have just a toe down, and then you just kind of pop the ball like it's a putting

stroke.

I've got my 60 degree wedge here, and as you can see, not doing anything crazy, not a lot

of hands, not a lot of fanciness going on here, not a lot of manipulation of the club

face, just kind of popping it like a putting stroke.

A little bit of a, I mean, for the most part, this is a straightforward little pitch.

The only problem is if you go a couple feet by, this is a practice green, catches a ridge
