Ue, Vannacci: "Cordone sanitario antidemocratico"

(Adnkronos) - Il 'cordone sanitario' che gli altri gruppi politici hanno stretto al Parlamento Europeo intorno al gruppo di destra Identità e Democrazia, impedendogli di ottenere le presidenze e vicepresidenze che gli spetterebbero in base al metodo d'Hondt, una specie di manuale Cencelli dell’Ue, è "antidemocratico", perché le opposizioni, quali che siano, svolgono una funzione utile in democrazia. Lo sottolinea il generale Roberto Vannacci, neoeletto nelle liste della Lega, incontrando la stampa a Bruxelles.

00:05but it's a decision that depends on all the other groups that don't have to impose this sanitary cordon,

00:10which seems to me to be a not-so-democratic procedure.

00:13In all the countries where democracy prevails, there are oppositions, whatever they are,

00:18that have their own function, and it's an absolutely democratic function.

00:21So, rather than asking Identity and Democracy, we should ask the other groups

00:26that would like to impose this sort of dictatorship of their political prominence.
