The SandSåk is our premium sand anchor system, which can also double as a 20L dry bag. It is made from high-quality 500D waterproof PVC material, assembled using high frequency welded seams. The clips and d-rings on SandSåk are Duraflex brand.
The 20L size holds 50+ lbs of sand or other smooth aggregate, and it is available in bright yellow or green. SandSåk comes packaged with a 1/2" diameter, 12' long braided polyurethane rope with a tensile strength of 2200 lbs. A foam composite buoy on one end, and rust-proof 316 stainless steel clips on both ends, make for easy connection, retrieval and spotting. SandSåk is suitable for both fresh and saltwater conditions, and can be used for a variety of personal watercrafts - from tubes, floaties, stand up paddle boards and kayaks to motorized craft such as jet skis or pontoon boats.
Sealing the SandSåk is simple: Fill the bag and align the top edges, push out any excess air Fold over tightly, at least 3 times Buckle the clip Clip the rope through BOTH of the d-rings and you are ready to go!
To empty, unclip the bag and use the handle on the bottom to dump the sand out.
When properly sealed and used as a dry bag only, the main compartment provides IPX-6 waterproof protection.
