Kabi Kabi people of Sunshine Coast awarded Native Title

The Federal Court on Monday June 17, 2024, awarded the Kabi Kabi people Native Title over 365,345 hectares of land and water, from Wide Bay to Sandstone Point, Queensland, including the coastline around Maroochydore, Caloundra, and Bribie Island.
