00:00It's a treat to come into a second series.
00:04We got to start hot.
00:07Nice to be back on set, to be aiming for something
00:09that's bigger and better.
00:12We had such a brilliant reception for season one
00:16and wanting to go for the bang.
00:19We had this goal to make it better this year,
00:22to top ourselves.
00:24Now that you've raised the bar, you
00:25want to maintain or exceed.
00:28The scale of season two has been above and beyond
00:31my expectations, at least.
00:34Costumes feel so much bigger.
00:37You look at all the stuff we're wearing
00:38and it took a lot of man hours to make.
00:41Everything about it is massive.
00:42It's like this room is massive.
00:45It's huge.
00:46It goes on and on and on.
00:48It's bigger.
00:49It's badder.
00:50We've got more dragons.
00:51We've just taken it to a 10 in every department.
00:59Yeah, it's massive.
01:00We had two main units, so you're shooting two movies every day
01:03all at the same time.
01:05Oh, it's very similar to a big film.
01:06We have five different directing teams, four different DPs.
01:10And now we've got two units, plus a splinter unit,
01:13plus an elements unit.
01:14And sometimes units are splitting into two.
01:16My brain would short out and I would just give up
01:18trying to grasp it all.
01:19The machine was ready to go.
01:23It's a privilege to be on these great big stages,
01:25part of this really ambitious, wonderful show.
01:29The thing that kind of blew my mind, they built a boat
01:31and there's a seabed.
01:32So, yeah.
01:34You can build almost anything you want here.
01:40It's huge, just the level and the scale of the sets.
01:44The number of crew, the catering figures.
01:46There's no one unit having an easy time of it.
01:50New cast members just stand in there like, oh, my God.
01:58Surrounded by such scale, feels good, you know?
