00:00Hi, I'm Keira Sedgwick and you're watching Life Minute TV.
00:04You know, I read it and it was so undeniably great.
00:13I mean, I think sometimes you read something and it's just, it's undeniable and that's
00:18really what this script was and I think that's why you have this cast.
00:21I laughed out loud that never ever happens.
00:24I'm endlessly fascinated with families because we all have a version of them but they're
00:28all different.
00:30Families are all complicated and dysfunctional and that's what makes them fun and funny.
00:34When I really look back at my entire career as an actor, as a director, as a producer,
00:39it's like always family stories that I'm most drawn to.
00:42The inspiration was we really wanted to make something that feels like those early 2000
00:46comedies with like an unbelievable cast.
00:49When you meet these actors, even though they're the greatest actors in the world, they have
00:53like such humility and they are just there to make the best things possible.
00:57I play David.
00:58I'm the middle child of the family.
01:00It was amazing.
01:01I mean, I'm such a huge fan of Keira Sedgwick and David Pamer.
01:05Getting to see the Hearts and Souls reunion happen in real time was super cool.
01:10I play a very Upper West Side Jewish only daughter.
01:14I bring my longtime boyfriend to dinner and there's a terrible accident that I have nothing
01:19to do with.
01:20But I have to kind of decide am I going to stand up for my family or maybe even do the
01:25right thing.
01:26She's very maternal.
01:28She's very much the matriarch.
01:30She takes charge.
01:31She's also a very established, acclaimed director.
01:34She's had her movies here before too.
01:36So she knew what she was doing.
01:40Any time spent with the kids is like, we sit around and just hang out.
01:44We have a lot of laughs together.
01:46Sometimes we create together.
01:47We're hoping to create some more together.
01:50Such a dream.
01:51Truly.
01:52I mean, I feel lucky that my kids want to hang out with me at this age.
01:55Truly.
01:56I don't take it for granted.
