00:00All anyone's ever gonna remember is, the last time you were in the finals, remember that
00:08game where you fouled out and you acted like a moron on the court all night?
00:12That's what they're gonna remember.
00:13So until he gets back to this point, which I'm sure he could, Scotty.
00:17He's young and he's a great player.
00:20Until he gets there, though, this is gonna follow him like a black cloud until he gets
00:24back to the finals.
00:25That's it.
00:26You know, I wouldn't, I'm not gonna deny his probabilities of getting back, okay?
00:34That there's gotta be some level of, you know, chance here that he could, you know, get back
00:40there.
00:41I don't feel like it's, with immediacy, though.
00:44I do not believe, frankly, that they're going right back to the NBA finals next year.
00:50Easier said than done.
00:52Everyone always has grandiose predictions of their, you know, failures turning into
00:59a return trip to the finals.
01:02The only team that we've seen do that has been the Florida Panthers.
01:06The Florida Panthers got their ass beat last year in the Stanley Cup finals and they went
01:10back to the finals and here they are, they're gonna win a Stanley Cup.
01:14We have not seen that in, like, you know, losing and then going back to a finals or
01:21a championship.
01:22What, like Michigan?
01:24I guess the Michigan Wolverines did it.
01:26They lost and then they went back and then they won it.
01:30I don't think Dallas is going back to the NBA finals.
01:34And Florida, not?
01:35I don't think Dallas is going back, do you?
01:38No, I mean, look.
01:42It's a long way from that, obviously.
01:43Usually in the NBA, sometimes you do get teams that go on strings of making it, but those
01:49days are, you know, these last five years have been different.
01:52We've had different matchups every year in the NBA finals.
01:56We've had a little bit more parity, as they like to say.
