00:08yours, club and country as well. What would you like to say about Alan? Listen, I had the pleasure

00:13of playing with him. He was an absolute dream for a midfield player. You know, he passed the ball

00:17the right way at the right time, the right angle. Just a super football player. I believe the best

00:23footballing centre-half ever. I know that's some statement, but I really believe that.

00:28I've seen it close up. He was a real quality performer and as a human being. You know,

00:35when people are in trouble with illness, people say they were great guys or they were a great guy.

00:39I'm telling you, he was a great guy. He's a strange breed because I think you have to search

00:45a long, long way to find anyone to say a bad word about him. That takes some doing.

00:50And his chat and his banter was top class. He was just a pleasure to be around. And he's in

00:54the fight of his life right now. We should all say a little prayer for him. Absolutely. We send
