00:35The Autostrade per l'Italia group was chosen by the government to represent the Italian excellence at the G7. The highways are a fundamental element for the economic development of the country. In fact, the roads move about 90% of passenger traffic and 85% of commercial traffic.
00:57Every day, 4.6 million people and 2.8 million vehicles travel the 3,000 km of highway network managed by ASPI, figures that confirm the centrality of the highway network for the socio-economic development of the country.
01:11Among the technologies of Movion, ASPI group, presented in these days at the Mediacenter of Bari, is the Argo system, a technological solution that allows to monitor bridges and network galleries for an optimal management of the unique infrastructure heritage in the world context.
01:27We then move on to monitoring the infrastructures and the management of the useful life cycle of them through sensors, digital twin bridges, viaducts and galleries and the use of artificial intelligence.
01:39Great attention is also paid to the FALCO project, an experimentation activity that, through the use of remote-controlled drones, allows to send video flows in real time directly to the Traffic Control Center, allowing to monitor the state of viability even in highway sections along which cameras are not available.
01:57With the FALCO project we already see some benefits, such as the 50% reduction of intervention times on emergency events and instead an increase of 11% of events detected.
