00:00One in two of us will get cancer at some point in our lives

00:04And this is growing with over 35 million new cases of cancer predicted in the year

00:102050. Lung cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer worldwide

00:15Followed by female breast cancer and a third place bowel cancer

00:19So what happens in cancer is that the cells in a specific part of the body grow when they shouldn't and reproduce

00:27Uncontrollably. These cancerous cells invade and destroy all the healthy tissue surrounding them

00:33And this is what causes a lot of the severe symptoms that we see in cancer rates

00:39And now it's expected to be a 77 percent increase in the number of cases by the year

00:452050. It's really important that we address risk factors such as smoking,

00:50Obesity, alcohol and air pollution. Addressing these factors will help to reduce your overall risk of cancer
