RSPCA shocked at Animal Rising’s King Charles portrait protest

The RSPCA has said it was “shocked” after animal rights activists targeted King Charles’ first official portrait by pasting the animated character Wallace over his face.

00:20Gallery in central London and proceeded to affix posters onto the portrait of King Charles.

00:31and Gromit, whilst another was a speech bubble reading No Cheese Gromit, Look at All This

00:36Cruelty on RSPCA Farms.

00:39A spokesman for Animal Rising said the action highlighted alleged cruelty on RSPCA Assured

00:45Farms.

00:46An RSPCA spokesman has said,

00:48We welcome scrutiny of our work, but we cannot condone illegal activity of any kind.

00:54Our staff and volunteers work extremely hard rescuing, caring for and speaking up for animals.
