00:27out myself is that having you know millions of followers doesn't necessarily convert into
00:31streams because just like anyone probably knows if they do know me i blew up from everything
00:36besides music let alone country music and so coming over to this scene you know we have been
00:40accepted by a lot of people and it's been really really great we've had a hell of a year but also
00:44at the same time there's been a lot of people that have been struggling to digest it because
00:47they this isn't how i blew up at all and so they're like oh he's just fake country boy trying
00:52to die and so yeah man i think it's just uh the reps man we've we've had a hell of a year like i
00:57said with the dylan scott tour with with all kinds of stuff man and i think that people just see that
01:01we're actually here to stay man did you learn a lot from dylan scott oh my i've learned everything
01:05from dylan honestly i owe everything to him right now man because i'd only had like two shows ever
01:12before that i did like two of like my own little like shows and we were doing anywhere from like
01:16500 to a thousand cat venues so it was cool we had like good little crowds there but i only had
01:21two reps you know what i mean and uh i was good friends with dylan we went on a big hunt trip
01:25last year together with a couple buddies and then they he'd asked me uh towards the middle of last
01:30year if i wanted to come on the road and open for him and i was like oh shit i was like oh damn here
01:36we go and uh so that ended up being a fall tour and i was like i would i would love to yeah i was
01:40like heck yeah let me do it and i hung up what did i just sign myself up for oh my lord man and um
01:47dude whenever i tell you i was so nervous going into that because i'm this tiktok kid man
01:52i i was like what if they boo me what if they don't like my music what if no one shows up for
01:55me and um dude i tell you what man it was the absolute coolest experience of my life everyone
02:00told me they were like you know you'll probably have 20 30 percent there at first for you because
02:04i was first three early on yeah i was first of three and um and so i was like all right cool
02:09i'll go out there and i'll rock out less is more less is better obviously because i don't have to
02:13you know there wasn't a way to kind of ease there wasn't a single show that i did on all 15 stops
02:17that there wasn't at least like 85 to 90 capacity you're walking out to arenas theaters what venues
02:23that are yes like like three three to like 5 000 cat venues that is just slam packed yeah can't
02:30even see where it ends and i'm like oh boy like and um dude whenever i tell you man he brought
02:37me out on stage every night to sing a song with him i was in his tour bus every single day that's
02:41he was in my green room you know messing around having a good time dude it felt like it was just
02:46as much my tour as it was his and that was the coolest experience i could have asked and it says
02:49a lot about him right as an artist to kind of bring you under his wing and kind of and bring
02:52you into the process that that way that that obviously headliners don't have to do absolutely
02:56there's a lot of headliners that like kind of just in my personal experience too sometimes i'm just
03:00going to shows they just sit in their green room they sit in the tour bus they don't really talk
03:04to a whole lot of people dude dylan is not it felt like one big family it was it was such a cool
