After graduating from high school, Lasse Stolley made trains his home. The IT professional works, sleeps and even dries his laundry on board. He travels from the Alps to the Baltic, but Berlin is his top destination.

00:00I'm Lasse Soller, I'm 17 and I live full-time on the train.
00:30Living on the train costs about 10,000 euros a year.
00:34Most of it goes to the bank, it has a 100 first class on it.
00:38Most of the time I wash my laundry by hand in the DB Lounge
00:41and then hang it overnight in some night toilet next to the bedroom.
00:44Most of the time I eat in the DB Lounge.
00:46There I can simply wash myself, cat laundry or something like that is no problem at all.
00:50The first two or three months I slept really badly and was often overworked.
00:53By now it's much better.
00:55My favorite city in Germany is Berlin in any case.
00:58Berlin is simply a culturally diverse city.
01:01Every time I arrive there by train, the city is somehow different.
