Leeds locals reflect on the first General Election 2024 TV debate.

00:00I have to say, I'm so disappointed in these two guys who want to run our country.

00:07And they're standing, throwing insults at each other.

00:10And it's a personal fight between two people.

00:13Rather than engaging in the growth of China, the threat from Russia,

00:18it seems to me the egos are in charge.

00:21It's about getting the face right for the leaders at the end of this.

00:24It's still hard to really gather whether you can believe the full story

00:29of what either party is going for.

00:31And just some of the clips I had seen as well of the comments about the NHS

00:37and sort of people laughing at Sunak's comments back about the waiting times.

00:43And still, even when they were laughing,

00:45he still really didn't seem to be able to gauge that he wasn't in the right.

00:48I have some reservations for the candidates in question.

00:53I'm a member of this and the person I would have loved to say

00:56that he performed credibly is not my party.
