Investigation underway into post ranking female students at Gold Coast school

Investigations into a social media post ranking female students from a South East Queensland secondary school into disturbing sexist categories is underway. WARNING: this story contains offensive language and references to sexual violence.

00:35 Earlier this month, boys from a Melbourne school were suspended after compiling a very

00:42 The mother of one of the Queensland girls singled out says whoever made the post should

00:47 also face consequences.

00:49 "They can sit behind a computer and post this, but these girls, they're going to be stuck

00:54 with this for the rest of their lives.

00:56 At 16, at such a vulnerable age, to be having to deal with this, it just blows my mind."

01:08 It's prompted calls to increase education for respectful social media usage in schools.

01:21 The State Department of Education has called the post vile and says any student found responsible
