Dopey driver tries - and fails - to carry sofa on top of car

A dopey driver tried to carry sofa on top of their car - before it flew off as they went around a roundabout.

The large charcoal grey sofa was spotted tied to the roof of the black Ford as it approached a roundabout in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on May 27.

A single piece of string attaching the furniture to the vehicle gave way as the car swung around and the sofa fell to the ground in the rain.

Thankfully no one appeared to be harmed in the incident.
