00:00 I've never been on this property, but I remember watching it back in 2019 where Rory McIlroy won
00:04 by seven shots over Shane Lowry. And the odds are just insane right now when you look at the board.
00:11 I mean, McIlroy's plus 330. That's just, I mean, even Scotty Sheffler hasn't really even seen a
00:17 number like that this year as we sit here and look at it around plus 400. But still, I mean,
00:22 that's just insane right now to see the next closest be 1600 and Tommy Fleawood. You know,
00:29 this week it's hard for me to say because of the golf course. I'm not like crazy familiar with it,
00:34 but I do really like Shane Lowry this week. He's had a great year. Why not Shane Lowry and Rory
00:41 McIlroy do the two guys that we saw win the Zurich classic together? That'd be make for
00:46 some pretty dang good TV as well. - That would be a nice final pairing
00:51 on Sunday. We get the Irish bear back in there with his old buddy from a few weeks ago and see
00:56 if they can have some fun. It's a weird week too, because you have such a strenuous three weeks
01:04 coming up, right? Memorial, US Open, Travelers Championship, Signature, Major, Signature.
01:10 What do you make of it? I mean, we knew Rory wanted to play more golf obviously this year,
01:15 but with such three heavy hitter weeks coming up, how about Rory's mindset here in an event that
01:20 he's played very well at the past few years? - Well, that's a, you make a great point. You
01:25 don't typically see stars play four weeks in a row, especially in the summer. But I think winning
01:31 is so important for a guy like Rory McIlroy just to have the taste in his mouth. It's like blood
01:36 in the water for these guys when they get to major championships. Knowing that they've done it
01:40 recently, I think Rory showed up with the mindset that he could win at Valhalla, but obviously I
01:46 don't, it was such a shootout that week. I think Rory's just trying to get himself ready for the
01:52 US Open and playing, continuing to play seems to be the formula he's been following lately.
01:57 But we'll see. I'm excited to watch this week. I think the leaderboard's gonna be really good.
02:03 There's plenty of good players playing in this tournament. And you kind of asked the question
02:08 a little bit earlier, is the Canadian going to get it done? I would probably lean on Mackenzie
02:15 Hughes as my favorite of those guys this week. I just love watching this guy pot, but I tell you
02:21 what, the Canadians have been playing really well. I mean, you got Nick Taylor, Mackenzie Hughes,
02:26 Taylor Pindus already won this year. Adam Hadwin got tackled last year
02:30 as Nick Taylor's defending champions. It'd be tough for me to pick who of those four guys is
02:36 gonna have the best week, but Mackenzie Hughes to me is the guy that I'm kind of circling.
