Fire at entertainment venue kills at least 24 people in western India

At least 24 people, including many children, died in a fire that broke out on Saturday (May 25) evening in a family entertainment venue in the western Indian state of Gujarat.

00:15 images showed a massive fire engulfing the TRP game zone and thick clouds of smoke emanating
00:21 from the site. The entire structure was gutted in the blaze.
00:25 "Fire broke out in the TRP gaming zone in the afternoon. The rescue operations are on.
00:32 The fire is under control. We are trying to retrieve as many bodies as possible. As of
00:39 now around 20 bodies have been recovered and they have been sent to the hospital for further
00:44 investigation."
00:45 Excavators were seen removing debris from the site as the rescue operation was underway
00:50 at the site.
00:51 Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said an investigation into the incident had been
00:56 handed to a special investigation team. It is said two people had been detained by Rajkot
