Malaysia's national women's doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah said they felt good about their physical condition throughout the week in the Malaysia Masters.

They said their 16-21, 11-21 defeat to South Korea's Lee Yu-lim-Shin Seung-chan in the semi-final was possibly due to the employment of their strategy.

00:00 Yeah, it's not the thing that we expected but the opponent also played a good game today.
00:14 So I think we need to go back and work back our strategy again with each other and also
00:20 coaches and focus on the next game.
00:23 Guys, you beat them last year in three games.
00:26 This time, do you guys feel they changed anything?
00:30 For this time, I think their speed really pressured us and their smash really made us
00:39 to do some placing.
00:41 So I think that's the main thing that they won today.
00:45 You guys see sometimes you all could get on the attack but sometimes you all couldn't.
00:50 Did they do anything like prevent you all to attack more?
00:55 I think their shots really pressured us.
00:57 I think that's the one main thing that caused the game.
01:02 You guys didn't play for a while since the Asian Championships, right?
01:06 So coming into this tournament, first few matches were pretty decent for you guys.
01:12 Is there any area that you all feel like, okay, maybe a bit rusty just because you all
01:17 didn't play so long?
01:18 Usually we feel really excited to be back on court because quite a long time we never
01:24 participating in tournament.
01:26 I think positive thing is we got a lot of communication in court now and we discuss
01:33 with each other even when things goes wrong.
01:35 So I think this is the good things we learn from this tournament.
01:39 Moving forward, there's only a few more tournaments left before the Olympics.
01:46 How important do you think, you just mentioned this communication on court and all that.
01:50 How important do you think is to maintain this sort of good communication before the
01:55 Olympics?
01:56 I think it's really important because it's the both of us on court and only both of us
02:02 can let each other know the feelings and what's going on on court.
02:05 So hope to keep this going and even better and also work on ourselves also at the same
02:12 time.
02:13 In terms of physical condition, I mean just now there were some...
02:18 You guys would know your body is the best so physically how are you guys doing?
02:23 Good.
02:24 Yeah, physically I think everything is good just strategy wise we need to work on.
02:30 I think also left a few days to the next tournament so we just want to try to be more consistent.
