00:00 Fighting continues across Gaza as Israel continues its offensive against Hamas, despite a ruling

00:07 from the International Court of Justice that its military operation in Rafa must stop.

00:14 The UN top court also ruled that the Rafa border crossing must be reopened for aid deliveries.

00:20 But ICJ judges stopped short of ordering a full ceasefire throughout Gaza.

00:25 The ruling was welcomed by Palestine's ambassador to the UN.

00:32 But displaced Palestinians in Gaza expressed frustration with the ruling because of its

00:36 focus on Rafa.

00:38 More than 900,000 Palestinians have been displaced from the city in the last two weeks, with

00:43 many having no access to food, water or shelter.

00:46 Meanwhile, the Hamas run health ministry says the death toll in Gaza now stands at at least

00:52 35,000 but the ministry doesn't distinguish between combatants and civilians.

00:59 The European Union has slammed Russia's removal of buoys on the Nava river marking the border

01:07 with Estonia as unacceptable.

01:10 Russian border troops removed 24 of the 50 buoys early on Thursday morning.

01:16 They've been on the river for decades to prevent navigation errors.

01:20 Tensions on the border have risen since Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

01:27 EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell called their removal provocative.

01:34 Crowds have marched through Tbilisi in protest against the approximately 200 arrests made

03:06 guards, cultural staff and youth and sports workers who come to work in the town every

03:12 Workers and tourists can push the summer population up to around 100,000.
