00:19 for their first match against Australia in the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup.
00:24 The crowd was cheering and clapping inside the Roselle Memorial Coliseum in every block of the players.
00:32 Australia won the first set of the 25-22 score,
00:37 but the national team did not show up to win the next two sets of the 25-19 and 25-16 score.
00:44 In the last set, the volleyball stars of the Senadjiya Morado de Guzman, Fifi Sharma and Angel Canino
00:52 were the only ones who scored to get the national team to win the game.
00:55 The match ended in a 3-1 score.
00:57 According to Alas Filipinas coach George Debrito,
01:18 it was a good start for the team to win the tournament and they said they still need to strengthen their offense and defense for the next matches.
01:26 The Alas Filipinas will face India's Pambato at 7 p.m.
01:44 while Iran and China's Taipei will play on Saturday and Sunday.
