00:00 This year we're gearing up for a rematch between these two.
00:03 Current President Biden and former President Trump.
00:06 Previous polling has shown that the two are close,
00:08 but Trump was edging a lead in many of them.
00:11 However, a new Marquette Law School survey,
00:13 one that asked respondents to choose from only these two candidates,
00:16 has found that they are now neck and neck.
00:19 But of course, they're not the only candidates.
00:21 The survey also revealed that when the likes of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,
00:24 Jill Stein, and Cornel West are included,
00:27 Donald Trump edges forward with a small three-point lead.
00:30 What's interesting is that RFK Jr. pulled in 17% of the vote,
00:34 meaning he's taking supporters away from both Biden and Trump.
00:38 The pollsters added that Trump's lead in that scenario
00:40 is still within the margin of error for the survey, that being 4.6%.
00:44 So what does that tell us?
00:46 Well, unless things change, it's going to be another close one.
00:48 Still, things could change, as many voters, even Republicans,
00:52 seem to care about whether or not Trump is found guilty in his criminal trials.
00:56 The poll also asked who respondents would vote for
00:58 if the former president was found guilty of a crime.
01:01 In that scenario, 43% chose Biden, and only 39% chose Donald Trump.
