Formal apology issued to Stolen Generations and families

The Chief Commissioner of Victoria police has issued an apology for the force's involvement in forcibly removing Indigenous Victorians from their families. On the eve of reconciliation week, Shane Patton said sorry for the ongoing effects of the stolen generation on survivors, their families and communities.
