Julian Assange granted appeal in UK High Court

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been granted the right to appeal his extradition to the U.S. because the UK High Court agreed he may not be able to rely on his First Amendment right of free speech in any potential trial. CGTN’s Iolo ap Dafydd reports from the High Court in London.

00:46 remit whether indeed the extradition would allow Julian Assange, if he was sent to the

01:01 law to be given a fair trial to answer those allegations. So now another full hearing here
01:09 in the UK and in the meantime Julian Assange will stay in Belmarsh prison.
