00:00 "Honestly, it could be."
00:07 "Wow.
00:12 Now you get emotional, eh?"
00:14 "My last press conference.
00:18 I don't think I will.
00:27 But if I miss, I just look at the picture and see Winnie and it's gone."
00:34 "That works without sound, I'm pretty sure."
00:40 "I knew for a long time our relationship is pretty special.
00:49 I love that.
00:51 I really think that the people make the difference for this club.
00:56 I said these people are the superpower of this club.
00:59 These people keep the club going, these people push the club, these people carry the club
01:05 through difficult moments.
01:08 These people are the club.
01:09 So I was not, obviously we had a really good time together.
01:15 Nine years, nearly a decade, it was absolutely crazy.
01:19 Kids who were today in the stadium, kids of the staff who were today in the stadium, and
01:23 so after them they don't know another manager of Liverpool, you see?
01:27 That's how it is.
01:28 They just think I was always there and will always be there and now I'm gone."
01:32 "I expected, I was a bit afraid of a breakdown.
01:41 I had one or two moments during the week where it was not great and I had during the game
01:45 the last few minutes were tricky.
01:49 But the general feeling today was it felt for me more like a start than an end because
01:53 it's not, I know the goodbyes about me, but in general it's about the team and I saw a
01:57 wonderful team and I saw a wonderful team on the way.
02:00 I saw a team who is ahead of schedule in their development, so it's a tough league and you
02:08 never know where you go, where you start again.
02:09 But it's really, it's not just a good football team.
02:12 And I saw all the young players who saved our backside a couple of times this year and
02:17 none of them besides Connor, Andrew Ell, who played, Connor was on the bench, and the other
02:22 boys were all not involved today are there as well.
02:25 And that's what gave me the feeling, OK, so job done.
02:33 I love you all, I love, I love all and everything about the club.
02:41 But it's time for me to go and, but look, it's not, it's not burning behind me.
02:47 So that gives me a good feeling.
02:49 So we are not, that's not that you think, oh, come on, get out of here.
02:53 So I know I can come back and I will come back and how I said after the game from today,
02:59 three hours ago when the game finished, by the way, on I'm, I'm a Liverpool supporter
03:06 and I love that.
03:08 I want to thank everybody about it.
03:10 Look, I love how we said goodbye to the staff, how the players said goodbye to the staff,
03:15 said in order to colleagues, but the public for the public, it's you and club, you and
03:19 club, you and club, you and club, but you and club is Peplinder, you and club is Peter
03:23 Garwitz, you and club is Vitor Matos, you and club is John Achterberg, Jack Robinson,
03:27 Tore Tavarell, you and club is Andreas Kornmeyer, Andreas Schlumberger, you and club is so much
03:31 more than you and club.
03:33 I alone would have done absolutely nothing.
03:36 And it's really nice how the people did that today because everybody felt really appreciated.
03:42 I have not, I don't have a lack of appreciation, obviously everybody shows me in the first
03:47 moment and tells me I will miss you.
03:49 I'm happy that all the other guys got their attention as well.
03:54 It was an absolutely incredible and wonderful time.
03:59 I love it.
04:00 My family was on a pitch, which was nice, really nice.
04:04 Now we'll have a party.
04:06 Now then we will come back next week for another, for another event.
04:11 And I will come back occasionally just as a supporter now.
04:15 And I'm fine with that.
04:17 Honestly, I am, I, I, maybe not for the first game of the season.
04:23 When starts the season by the way?
04:25 Sorry?
04:26 Oh no, I don't have time then.
04:29 That's early, wow.
04:35 Maybe after the second international break or something like that.
04:37 So it's, look, but can I say, I am in, I decided there must be a difference if you, if the
04:51 things go bad, always worse, worse, worse, and then you, or if the things go well and
04:55 you go, and I'm really happy that we could have, that we could have do it, could have,
05:00 could have done it that way.
05:02 That's it, that we did it that way.
05:05 Yeah.
05:06 Third, that's all right.
05:08 Thank you.
05:09 Thank you very much.
