00:05 And I mean really listen, whether it's a casual conversation or a serious conversation.
00:11 You can just tell when someone's a great listener.
00:13 I think that's a big part of what makes someone a great leader.
00:16 Humility, because leading is all about driving your team to the best outcomes.
00:20 I think exemplary leaders have amazing vision and kindness.
00:25 And I think that's one of the things that makes them great leaders.
00:28 Somebody who enables others to actualize their potential.
00:32 Being empathetic, being able to empathize with the situation,
00:37 look at it from different perspectives, and from that perspective find the best solution to the problem.
00:42 Empathy, the ability to look at things from other people's perspectives,
00:45 as to how you come up with the best solutions.
00:47 At Uber we have this value called "See the Forest and the Trees."
00:51 And that to me is the number one leadership value,
00:53 because really effective leaders know their businesses incredibly deeply,
00:58 but can also zoom out and see the direction that they're headed,
01:01 see around corners, and gather everyone to be headed in that direction.
