00:00 Winter is arriving in the southeast of the country, courtesy of a cold front that's coming

00:05 through Tasmania today.

00:07 Meanwhile, you'd be forgiven for thinking it's more like summer in the southwest.

00:11 Temperatures still well above average, courtesy of a high that's helping to pull heat across

00:15 the nation before it dips down into the southwest of WA.

00:19 This front in the southeast will bring some wet weather, some hail too in Tasmania, a

00:24 bit of snow there and getting up into the southeast of the country too.

00:27 Now we'll see the wet weather continuing up the east coast in the coming days.

00:32 Pretty brief line of showers but you could see decent totals before it all moves off,

00:37 leaving onshore winds bringing showers in its wake.

00:39 Some onshore winds continue in the east as well because that high pressure system in

00:41 the Bight isn't set to go anywhere.

00:43 In fact, Perth's staying very warm, above 25 degrees right through the outlook.

00:49 In terms of rainfall, western Tassie, northeastern Queensland probably getting the best of the

00:53 totals and you can see that strong signal along the coastal fringe in the east.

00:58 If you're away from the coast though, you're not likely to see much at all.

01:01 Brisbane tomorrow, you're going to see the sun, it's getting to 25 degrees.

01:05 Showers for Sydney though could be double digits in the gauges, 17 your top.
