00:00 Yemen rebels are back in action.
00:06 A fresh warning for the world by the Houthi chief.
00:10 Is the Red Sea crisis set to escalate?
00:14 Abdul Malik Al Houthi, the leader of the Houthis in Yemen, declared on Thursday that his group
00:19 will now attack any ship that was involved in delivering or shipping products to Israel,
00:26 regardless of where they were going.
00:29 In response to the Israeli aggression on Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, he claimed that
00:35 this is the fourth stage of the escalation.
00:39 Abdul Malik Al Houthi, also known as Ansarullah, stated, "As of now, we are considering the
00:46 fifth and sixth stages, and we also have some very significant, delicate and powerful decisions
00:51 to make regarding the adversaries."
00:55 His announcement comes as a major shocker for the world as Israel continues to press
00:59 deep into Gaza's city of Rafah.
01:03 Houthis claim that since the start of the Gaza war in October last year, approximately
01:07 112 vessels have been targeted and that in the past week alone only 10 ballistic missiles
01:13 and drones have been launched.
01:16 And so Ansarullah claims that Israel is an enemy of Islamic Ummah and it is a dangerous
01:21 threat to the world.
01:24 The enemy only understands the language of the force and the Ummah needs to focus on
01:28 the strength of deterrence, he added.
01:31 In addition, Al Houthi also urged Arab nations to assist in halting and expanding Israeli
01:36 assault on Rafah by allowing Ansarullah to utilize their arsenals of weapons and ammunitions
01:42 against Israel.
01:43 "If any Arab country desires, we are ready to activate the capabilities stored in its
01:48 warehouse instead of letting them rust or be misused against the enemy," Ansarullah
01:54 declared, citing more action at all levels is needed to counter the enemy's escalation
01:59 regarding the Rafah crossing.
02:02 After months of Houthi attacks in the Red Sea, international shipping routes were forced
02:05 to reroute to more expensive and time-consuming routes around southern Africa.
02:11 This increased concern that the Israel-Hamas conflict may expand and destabilize the Middle
02:15 East along with the global financial markets.
02:19 And so, in retaliation for the attacks on shipping, the United States and Britain launched
02:23 strikes against Houthi targets.
02:26 However, it appears that the impact remains minimal on Houthi rebels.
02:31 Just days ago, two missile strikes on two container ships flying the flag of Panama
02:35 in the Gulf of Aden were attributed to the Houthi rebels, although no harm was inflicted.
02:40 Furthermore, the former Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi also claimed that if Israel
02:45 continues its actions in Rafah, Iran may start building the nuclear bomb.
02:50 The remarks made by the former Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi and Yemeni military
02:55 spokesman Yahya Sari coincided with the ongoing pressure from Hamas allies on Israel regarding
03:00 the latter's ongoing war on the militant organization in the Gaza Strip.
03:05 As long as the conflict lasts, the Houthi insist that they will keep attacking ships
03:09 that pass through the vital canal that leads to the Suez Canal and then to the Mediterranean
03:14 Sea.
03:15 All in all, Houthi's announcement signals a dangerous escalation in tensions, with ramifications
03:21 for maritime security and regional stability at risk.
