00:00So, you move forward, do you see any of the lads on anywhere at all, or is it just...
00:09No, yeah, yeah, yeah. We catch up now and then, to be honest.
00:14You know, sometimes we work for Manchester United as ambassadors and catch up there.
00:19Sometimes we play charity games and catch up there.
00:22Or you do some TV work and you catch up there.
00:26So, it's a different kind of area to catch up on.
00:30But it's always nice with this bunch of lads.
00:34We experience a lot of good periods together.
00:39So, it's always nice to catch up with them.
00:42What do you make of the current Manchester United side?
00:45You know, I think it's a good side.
00:47They have something really to look forward to now.
00:51It's the Wembley final.
00:54I think they have some results.
00:58Teams and players always go into times in their career that go up and down.
01:05But it's how you get out of that.
01:07And they know what to do.
01:09That's just hard work to get out of.
01:11If you feel a little bit down, just go on the training pitch to work as hard as you can.
01:16And build on the results you get.
01:21But now, United has really something to look forward to.
01:25And that's to go to Wembley.
01:27And that can put a really good stamp on their season.
01:30So, I think they work hard every day.
01:33With the changes that have gone on within the hierarchy,
01:36do you see good times ahead for United?
01:38Say again?
01:40With all the changes to gyms, buy-in from the hierarchy,
01:45director of football, all of these things.
01:47I'm looking forward to this period that comes now.
01:53We'll see.
01:55It's something I look forward to.
01:57To see in which direction it goes.
02:01With United as a club, there are going to be demands
02:07that are going in the right direction.
02:12It's something I think we're all looking forward to as well.
02:15We'll see what's going to happen.
02:16Sir Alex always used to say football is cyclical.
02:19It goes in cycles.
02:21So, this is just a difficult cycle.
02:23That's what I mean.
02:24It's always players and clubs and teams.
02:28The performance goes up and down a little bit.
02:31That's not only in football, but in sport in general.
02:36But it's how you work yourself out of it.
02:40That puts a stamp on the teams, how they go out.
02:45We'll see how they go on with it.
02:48Hopefully they can work hard and get the result at Wembley.
02:52Just finally, do you think there's too much football?
02:55We look at the injuries this year.
02:57Not just United, other top teams are all being hit hard.
03:01I know.
03:03I went through that a little bit myself as well.
03:05Even though they play more games now than we play.
03:11It's a lot of games.
03:15It's tough.
03:17I think the body can take most of it,
03:20but it's the concentration of the head which is really tough.
03:23Especially after, in my experience, you go out and play in Europe
03:28and come back to England and have an away game.
03:31That could be...
03:33And you play away games.
03:37That's very difficult.
