China has a long history of making soup. In the Xianrendong Cave, in the Jiangxi Province a soup bowl was discovered that dates back to 20,000 BC. This Chinese proverb “The most delicious soup is made by mixing different ingredients,” hints that embracing different types of culture is enriching.
