Part 1 of 7 of the sequel to Bouquet of Barbed Wire. Not yet a year has gone since Prue's untimely death, but Gavin is now in a relationship with student Vicky, who is desperate to move in with him. Peter and Cassie are still separated, but Peter considers a reconciliation with his wife. Cassie meanwhile is looking after Gavin and Prue's daughter Eve, but is in for a shock when she rings Gavin's flat, hoping to continue their relationship.
