Ep 5: Private Marmalade. Mr and Mrs Atkins think they have got the perfect job for Marmalade - they enlist her into the army, where her sergeant is determined to work her to a frazzle! But Marmalade is far shrewder than that to be outdone by the army...
Starring Charlotte Coleman, Windsor Davies, John Bird, Carol MacCready, Elizabeth Estenden, Graham Cull, Michael Miller and Ahmed El Shenawi. This sees a star appearance by Windsor Davies, who basically takes his "It Ain't 'Alf Hot, Mum" persona to this episode. He's a welcome presence, and there are even some of the less PC aspects of the old series in here - such as another of Mr Atkins' business plans to "con the Arabs" that wouldn't get past the cuts nowadays.
