00:05 Donda Academy and Yeezy.
00:08 West founded Donda Academy, a non-accredited private school, back in 2022.
00:13 The school was allegedly shut down as a result of Yeezy's infamous anti-Semitic remarks
00:18 in late October of 2022.
00:20 In early April of 2024, news broke that West was being sued over claims of misconduct in
00:25 both of his business ventures.
00:27 The suit was filed by a former Donda Academy and Yeezy employee, who alleged West showed
00:32 multiple instances of discrimination and harassment in the workplace.
00:37 But now West is finding himself in even more legal hot water as another former employee
00:42 of both Yeezy and Donda Academy is suing the star.
00:46 The second lawsuit, filed by a security guard named Benjamin "Dashawn" Provo, claims
00:50 West "frequently screamed at and berated" black employees.
00:54 The suit goes on to claim that Ye demanded Provo shave his locks, and when Provo refused,
00:59 he was terminated.
01:00 Provo also alleges that he was paid less than his white co-workers.
01:05 As of now, neither Kanye West nor his team have responded to People magazine's request
01:09 for comment on this new lawsuit.
