00:28 job customers would sing her praises.

00:30 How long were you at Burger King?

00:32 The first time I worked there, I was 16.

00:34 Right.

00:35 But then I quit.

00:36 Right.

00:37 Because it was just not for me. And then I eventually went back.

00:40 The singing.

00:41 And I used to sing in the drive-thru, right?

00:42 Did you really sing in the drive-thru?

00:44 Yeah. I used to sing in the drive-thru. Because it was a mic, honey. It was a mic. So that

00:48 was my stage.

00:49 So let's say I pull up, I go, "I'd like to have two fries."

00:52 You just, I don't know what I would be singing, but you would hear my mouth just, "Ah, singing

00:57 away!" And they'll pull up, and they're like, "Who is..." And they'll beep. You knew a call

01:03 was coming because it would beep, beep, beep. And my sister, she was like the queen of Burger

01:06 King. And she used to bust at me, "Do your job!"

01:16 I love it. All right, now to Margot Robbie, who may be living in a Barbie world now, but

01:20 on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she told guest host Chris Pratt that she's been pounding the pavement

01:25 since she was 10.

01:26 Did you have a normal upbringing? I worked in a restaurant. Did you ever work in a restaurant

01:31 growing up?

01:32 I did. I did. I worked in a restaurant from, I think, about 10 to 15.

01:36 10?

01:37 Yeah, I was working really young.

01:39 Whoa, what did you do?

01:41 I started back in the kitchens. I was polishing cutlery, and then I upgraded to peeling potatoes,

01:46 and then I was a dish pig, and then I was a waitress. And then by about 14, I was behind

01:50 the bar, and that was the fun part.

01:51 Whoa, 14 behind the bar? Is that legal in Australia?

01:55 No, it's not. Sometimes I'd be giving someone a drink, and they'd be like, "Yeah, two beers."

02:01 "Are you old enough to give me a beer?" And I was like, "Do you want the beer or not?"

02:04 And they're like, "Well, yeah."

02:08 She outed her boss.

02:09 You know what? I love that so much. Give us a beer.

02:34 We had some nylon puma suits. We wanted to be cool, and so we learned how to break dance,

02:41 and then Matt was like, "If we just get some linoleum and put it down at the subway, we

02:49 Well, I don't know if anybody put quarters in the cup. I think they walked by with pity

03:24 wanted to—she had to read the child's book to me to see if I could understand.

03:31 Well, she was like, "This is the I Spy book, and I'd like you to read it."

03:34 She goes, "Let me show you how it works." You notice?

03:36 She goes, "I spy with my little eye something that rhymes with 'dapple.'"

03:44 And Jennifer, it would be the apple on his face.

03:47 Right.

03:48 You know, and then I would go, "Oh, okay."

03:55 I used to clean the bathrooms at the mechanic shop my dad owned.
