00:00 In an interview with media, Chris Webber called the LA Clippers Hollywood.
00:04 He said, I definitely thought the Clippers had it.
00:06 The Clippers were Hollywood.
00:08 I thought they wouldn't be the team that was Hollywood.
00:10 I thought they would come with that effort every night.
00:12 And what he means by that is he thought they'd be different than the Lob City Clippers.
00:17 When he saw these 2020 Kawhi Leonard Clippers, he expected a team filled with grit, with
00:21 Patrick Beverly, Marcus Morris, Montrezl Harrell, a team with a bunch of dogs that'd be able
00:26 to claw back from any deficit and put forth the same exact effort every night.
00:31 Instead, it was a team that managed to blow more leads than any other team in the NBA
00:36 this year and just seemed to be like the effort wasn't there.
00:39 90% of nights, they were a team that played down the competition.
00:43 That's what he means by Hollywood.
00:45 They were supposed to be blue collar.
00:47 They were supposed to be about hard work and they're supposed to be about being able to
00:50 understand any type of pressure.
00:52 Instead, they seem to be one of the most mentally weak teams in NBA history.
00:57 They blame chemistry.
00:58 They blame fatigue.
00:59 In a game seven, they blame fatigue.
01:02 At that point, there's nothing more you can do than accept what it is, which is a choke.
01:07 I mean, the Clippers choked.
01:09 The Nuggets had the lowest net rating in Western Conference Finals modern history.
01:13 The second lowest belongs to the Houston Rockets in 2015, who the Clippers also choked to.
01:17 But you still have to give credit to the Denver Nuggets because they are the most resilient
01:21 team in MBA history.
