U.S. Senate OKs military aid package to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan

00:00 After months of delay, mostly on GOP House stalling tactics to include border security in the proposed bill,
00:07 the Senate approves House Resolution 815 or the Supplemental Appropriations Act that bestows Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan
00:15 with military aid in the amount of $95 billion.
00:19 Both Senate majority and minority leaders hailed the ratification of the bill that passed muster by a vote of 79 to 18.
00:26 U.S. President Joe Biden said he will sign the bill into law tomorrow
00:30 and expects to begin sending badly needed military equipment and weaponry to Ukraine within the week.
00:36 Under the Supplemental Appropriations Act, Ukraine will receive $61 billion,
