Senators want property tax reforms back on parliament agenda

00:12go and invest in two houses anymore, you can only invest in one. Okay, because there's 71.5% of

00:18Australians out there that only have that one investment house and good on them for investing

00:22in that. But seriously, if you are too scared about losing votes, then maybe it's time you

00:28showed some courage because people of Australia want to see that. That's where your votes come

00:32from. That's where your votes come from. Okay, that's how it works. They are alive to this. It

00:38is the 21st century. I mean I'm certainly hearing from people, everyone's talking cost of living,

00:45housing underpins that. The amount people are spending on their mortgage or on their rent

00:51and then you start to add in all these other issues. You look at family domestic violence,

00:55you talk to frontline services, they can't find accommodation for women who want to leave a

01:00violent relationship. So, so much of this comes back to housing. Is housing an investment vehicle?
