Duke's Chase Brice: "Have to bring your own juice" in empty stadium

Duke will open its season with no fans in the stands. Quarterback Chase Brice said, "you're going to have to bring your own juice."

00:02I'm not really sure. I mean it's never happened before. I've never played a game where there's no fans and so

00:09I'm sure it'll be a little bit of an adjustment pregame

00:12You're gonna have to you know, bring bring your own juice and level level of intensity. You're not gonna have the the fans behind you

00:21But you know, that's just kind of you know, what it is it is what it is

00:25You just deal with it and and play the game

00:28He's got speed

00:30He's you know, he's catching ball in practice and we just got to find opportunities to get him the ball in space

00:37You know a lot of teams are you know, we're gonna gonna play man

00:41And so we got to get off the ball

00:43you know you and use techniques to get off the ball and I

00:46Got to put it in a place where he can catch it

00:49And come down with it and I'm you know, I got faith in all my receivers

00:53Especially Damon and I know moving forward he's gonna make a lot of plays

00:59Yeah, I mean on the road at Notre Dame that's a that's a tough tough first game

01:05But that's just the draw we got and you know, like I said in other other questions

01:10I mean we're gonna build so much off of what we saw on film

01:14and a lot of improvement comes from your first game to your second game and

01:18You know, that's that's going to be the goal moving into into this week

01:25So going into Boston College, you know, that's the plan. We're gonna gonna play better

01:29Yeah that we can play with anybody

01:31That lines up in front of us and I think people saw that. Um

01:36No, I mean he's a head coach but he's also, you know defensive minded guy he was a D coordinator I think and so

01:43I feel like he's gonna have a lot of control of the defense

01:47And so we'll be looking forward to that

01:50Yeah, I thought it was a cool thing to have the black decal on the helmet

01:55I'm not sure if we're gonna keep doing that going forward

01:58I I just know that was the the first game but I think it'd be a you know

02:03pretty cool to do that for for our helmets and I'm a great way to

02:07to show that to the world to college football and and in the media and everything and

02:13Yeah, like you said we were all on board with with that decision
