00:00 How much different is your weekly routine from like a strength and
00:04 conditioning standpoint when you're in a baseball season versus in a football
00:07 season? This year is a lot different. Because football we work more muscle like rotator cuff things.
00:14 It's not like we don't do a lot of squatting, benching. I mean baseball we
00:21 get out we actually get after it. I'm not saying we don't get after it in football
00:24 but it's like in baseball we actually squat, we actually deadlift heavy, we go
00:30 heavy. And I mean yeah it's a big difference. I mean now if I was a
00:34 position player it wouldn't be that much of a difference but it's a quarterback so I
00:37 gotta I mean I'm glad I'm thankful that coach Duras came in. I mean I feel a lot
00:42 more flexible than I did last year. I feel a lot faster so I can't thank him
00:47 enough for coming in and working with me. How much did you talk with coach Elliot and coach Lam
00:52 during the spring when you were in baseball season just to kind of catch up
00:56 on what you're missing when you're with the baseball team? We talked a pretty
01:00 good amount. Obviously mostly about coach Elliot told me you know get out there when you can.
01:05 If you can it's okay and that was the biggest thing for me. He didn't force me
01:09 to be out there. Coach Lam didn't force me to be out there. He told me the same thing.
01:12 If I can get out there, get out there. And yeah but coach Lam sending me like all
01:18 the plays that they went through that day. I mean studying those every day.
01:22 Obviously you got to come out here and do it and execute it but it was good to see
01:28 like they still cared about me even when I'm not there. How has the first week of
01:32 fall camp been under coach Elliot and coach Lam? It's been good. I obviously still got
01:37 things to work on. Still got things to improve and get better at but and that's
01:42 that just me. We all got it. It's all on me. Even if we're doing good we still got
01:46 things to improve but I love the intensity that coach Elliot brings. He gets on me a
01:51 lot which I actually love. I love feedback and I'm thankful for that he
01:55 came in and doing that. Coach Lam is the same way. He gets on me a lot and I love it.
02:00 So you got a full year of doing both sports under your belt now. Still gonna
02:05 go out do baseball again in the spring? Yeah but it's gonna be set a plan.
02:09 That's gonna be the plan. We can't do both anymore.
