00:13 who are roughly a three to one price entering in.
00:15 They're now down to a plus 210
00:17 after their two O series lead against the Los Angeles Lakers.
00:20 The Clippers at 14 to one, OKC 15 to one,
00:23 Milwaukee Bucks 17 to one, Knicks 18 to one.
00:26 Those are the teams that are 20 to one or less.
00:28 Are we seeing any value or is it just so simple to say,
00:31 hey, take the Scottie Scheffler, take the UConn approach,
00:35 don't worry about it, just take the best teams,
00:37 they'll handle their business.
00:38 - I guess the way I would think of it would be
00:41 what would the series price be
00:44 between the Celtics and the Nuggets?
00:46 So I think the Celtics would be favored.
00:48 They'd probably be like, what do you think?
00:49 Like minus 115, minus 120,
00:52 something like that against the Nuggets.
00:54 The Nuggets would drop to like plus 150, plus 140,
00:59 something that is right about in that range,
01:01 which means I guess if you were gonna bet
01:03 one of them right now in hope of getting better future value
01:07 it would be the Celtics
01:08 'cause that's gonna be the more dramatic shift in pricing.
01:12 That being said, I don't think that either of those
01:14 are particularly bettable and I'm not that interested
01:17 in holding a plus 150 wager for the next six weeks.
01:22 I do think the Thunder or the Clippers
01:25 are the best odds there relative to what could happen
01:28 because again, the series price between either of them
01:31 against the Nuggets, that gap is gonna shrink quite a bit.
01:34 I mean, I think the Thunder would be like four to one
01:36 or the Clippers would be like four to five to one
01:38 to win that series against the Nuggets.
01:40 And really I suppose what you would be betting
01:43 would just simply be that the Celtics choke
01:47 the way that they have for each of the last five seasons
01:49 that they get to the finals,
01:51 they get to the Eastern Conference finals
01:52 and they just can't score in the late game offense.
01:55 Also, a 37 to one is probably not good enough
01:59 but if you could get like 40 to one, 45 to one
02:02 on the 76ers and they end up winning this series
02:05 against the Knicks and Embiid is fully healthy,
02:07 he gets rest, I think the 76ers are the only team
02:10 in the Eastern Conference who can beat the Celtics
02:13 in the seven game series, which I know feels crazy
02:15 'cause they're down O2 to the Knicks.
02:18 But I just, I think Embiid is that good.
02:20 He's the only guy in the Eastern Conference
02:22 capable of being the best player
02:25 in a series against the Celtics.
02:27 So I think Clippers, Thunder and 76ers
02:31 are all like minorly bettable.
