00:00 Be it the Indian, the Chinese, the American, the African, anybody.
00:03 We all want to have a happy life and about a happy life, the thing is consumption.
00:08 Consume more and let there be more people who can consume more.
00:12 So the slogan really is "More to consume more"
00:15 and nobody seems to want to address that because that is just too explosive an issue probably,
00:20 especially in a democratic setup.
00:22 The fundamental thing is we are just too many.
00:24 And if we remain as many as we are,
00:26 then I don't want to sound nihilist or something but I don't really see hope unless we address that one thing.
00:33 Equally, if we can address that one thing, especially to youngsters,
00:37 then obviously there is a lot of hope and a great possibility
00:40 and that possibility will then not relate only to climate change but to everything that we do.
00:45 As human beings, we'll be able to lead richer, deeper, more meaningful lives,
00:49 more loving lives, lives of compassion,
00:52 lives of less strife and lives that have a certain fulfillment.
