00:26 Momota won the World Championships and Asian Championships back-to-back in 2018 and 2019.

00:34 He also won a total of 16 World Tour titles, 13 of which in 2018 and 2019.

00:41 He held the Guinness World Record for winning the most badminton men's singles titles in

00:46 a season, with 11 titles in 2019.

00:50 He last played competitively at the Badminton Asia Team Championship in Shah Alam in February
