Hawaii’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’ Set to Be Demolished Soon
  • 11 days ago
They’re known locally as the Haʻikū Stairs located on the island of O’ahu and they are about to be demolished. The stairs were built in the 1940s by the U.S. Navy, but they have been closed to the public since 1987. However, that hasn’t stopped hikers from ascending them anyways. Veuer’s Tony Spitz has the details.
