00:00 The Ministry of Finance has decided today that it will not continue the discussion with PJD Link.

00:14 Unity Government spokesman Fahmi Fazil confirmed the decision today,

00:18 adding that the concessionaire failed to fulfil six of eleven conditions set by Puja Jaya.

00:24 PJD Link has requested the Government to fulfil a number of conditions,

00:37 but this has been rejected by the Government.

00:41 Fahmi said the Public Works Department will also issue a statement on the matter.

00:46 The PJD Link Highway would have connected the northern and southern suburbs of Petaling Jaya.

00:51 The proposal for the highway's construction was approved in principle by the Cabinet in November 2017.

00:57 However, the Selangor State Government decided to scrap the project last year,

01:01 citing unsatisfactory impact assessment reports submitted by the developer.
