00:06 seeing a more accurate representation of the relationship,

00:10 not in a sense of being let off the hook or whitewashed,

00:13 as you kind of alluded to, the comments that people have made,

00:18 just in a sense of it wasn't all about addiction.

00:24 And, you know, as much as that might have been the salacious headlines

00:28 and the paparazzi's goal, there was addiction,

00:32 but it was only an aspect that the relationship started,

00:35 like every relationship does.

00:36 So, Sam Taylor-Johnson, the director, has said that,

00:40 because there have been criticisms that you've been turned in,

00:43 I think one of the quotes is, "into a Disney prince",

00:46 and many people for a long time have kind of blamed you

00:52 for drawing her into her addictions that ultimately took her

00:56 fairly or unfairly.

00:58 But she said that it was very important to show how the two of you

01:05 fell in love, what attracted Amy to you in the first place,

01:08 what the chemistry was.

01:23 or the narrative, I should say, was something that I learned
