Monkey Man Movie Featurette -  In Conversation    The much-anticipated film "Monkey Man," directed by and starring Dev Patel, is scheduled for release in the United States on April 5, 2024. The movie, which also features performances by Pitobash and Sharlto Copley, is inspired by the legendary figure of Hanuman, renowned for his strength and courage.  In "Monkey Man," Dev Patel portrays Kid, a young man who lives a modest existence in an underground fight club. Night after night, Kid, disguised with a gorilla mask, endures brutal beatings from more popular fighters in exchange for cash. His life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers a means to infiltrate the inner circle of the city's corrupt elite.  As Kid confronts his past traumas, his deeply scarred hands become the instruments of his vengeance. With a simmering rage that has long been suppressed, Kid embarks on a relentless campaign of retribution against those who have taken everything from him.
