00:00 I have been chosen by the Green Party members to be the general election candidate for Kettering.

00:07 And I do want to say I've had support from both sides. I've had conservatives, a lot of conservatives,

00:15 reaching out to me saying that they don't have anywhere for their vote this time.

00:19 And I've had a lot of Labour also reach out to me saying that they can't vote for Labour this time

00:25 because they're so frustrated with the backing down on their promises.

00:28 What I am about is bringing unity and I think there is so much more that unites us and divides us.

00:35 Just like having a Green in the room changes things.

00:39 And having a Green in our parliament as well, we would do so much more.

00:43 What spirit we have here, we've got to leverage that spark to reignite our town centres, to improve our town.

00:49 We brought you onto the clock because of these crises, because time is running out.

00:55 We know, I know, that we are the underdog.

00:59 We do not have the backing of millionaires or big businesses or big unions.

01:05 What we do have though is people.

01:08 We have people who are willing, like you, like me, who are willing to stand up for what they believe in.

01:14 And that, that is our strength.

01:16 And with your support we can win in Kettering.

01:19 And make no mistake, we're in it to win it.
